Training on SRHR of Adolescents with Disabilities and Marginalized Groups
Turning Point Foundation organized a training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of Adolescents with Disabilities and Marginalized Groups on 07-09 November 2017. A total of 20 adolescents diversified in terms of gender, disability, geographic area, socio-economic class, marginalized groups participated the training; among them 13 girls, 07 boys, 18 adolescents with disabilities, two were from ethnic minorities such as Dalits and Indigenous. Participants also came from grassroots DPOs from different districts of Bangladesh. The training focused on adolescent SRHR, Sex, Gender, Disability, Puberty, Situation of adolescents with disabilities and different marginalized regarding SRHR. They also learned about the National Adolescents Health Strategy 2017-2030 and National Plan of Action.
